Resistance

Air flow

For instance, nowadays, you’ll find the majority of regulated box mods are sold with in-built safety systems to prevent the heating of a coil with a resistance too low for its battery or, worse, using with the device with a coil that could produce an electrical short.

That said; be aware that, inevitably by their nature, mechanical mods come with no such safety systems – were they to do so they wouldn’t be properly customisable.
